Glaxosmithkline is a leading pharmaceutical company in the London with the largest retail base in the markets of UK. Astrazeneca Plc is Swedish multinational company and has a good customer base in UK.(Short, Pagan and Goldstein, 2012)Shire is a Global biotechnological company which deals in providing medication to the people with rare diseases. This report will make a financial comparison on all three companies with the assistance of analysis of ratios and presenting charts for a better analysis. Further, how Investment appraisals are used in investment decision making and using various numericals for the illustration of the key aspects.
